Meet West
MeetWest…is a collaborative effort, to support business in the West, between the four Local Authorities, three County Enterprise Boards, the Enterprise Development Agencies and Chambers of Commerce in the Galway, Mayo and Roscommon region. The objective of the event is to bring together 400 companies based in these 3 counties over one and a half days to facilitate the development of greater business between these companies and further business opportunities for them either locally, regionally or internationally. Student Enterprise Awards 2012

The Galway County & City Enterprise Board is actively supporting the Student Enterprise Awards for 2012. These awards are a National initiative targeted at all levels in secondary schools to encourage innovation and self-employment as a real career choice. The objective of this programme is to enable and support teenagers to engage in a real life experience of setting up and running their own small business.
Attached is information regarding the Student Enterprise Awards . We are actively linking with schools and individual teachers to establish what support is needed to support teachers and students to avail of the learning opportunities provided by this programme.
